Giclée Fine Art Pigment Prints

These custom-made Fine Art reproduction prints are created from High Resolution Digital Photographs of the original artwork or from High Resolution Scans of color accurate transparencies. Once in the digital format, the image is then color corrected and meticulously matched to either the original artwork or to the transparency. A proof is then printed and upon approval by the client, the final print is made using an Epson wide format printer utilizing state of the art archival UltraChrome Pigment inks which are water and humidity resistant.

Proofing

Once signed and approved by the client, the final proof remains on file at Gibran Studio as the Bon A Tier (BAT), which is the reference proof by which all future orders of the image are compared against for color accuracy. An Artist Proof is also provided free of charge. Both the BAT and the Artist Proof are approximately 8.5” x 11” in size. For very large prints, a small sectional detail at the print size is also available for a minimum charge. Full size proofs are available at the normal print rate. A signed proof or email confirmation is a pre-requisite for all volume runs.

A large selection of paper and canvas, optimized for digital output and archival qualities, are available in various surfaces, sizes and weights. Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper, Hahnemühle German Etching Paper and PremierArt Water Resistant Canvas for Epson are just a few of the more popular choices. Unlike a few other inexpensive Giclee reproduction services, Gibran Studio uses only the highest quality papers and canvases, which have been thoroughly tested in-house for accurate color reproduction and which have been independently tested for superior archival qualities.

Your image file and signed proof are archived for future printing. Once archived, additional prints can be ordered at any time.
